Hoya ID – The first lens design based entirely on your eyes

Hoya ID lens designs are the first fully customized progressive lens, designed using their patented Integrated Double Surface Design (IDSD) technology shaped for the specific rotation of your eyes.

HOYA Free-Form Fabrication uses diamond point tools to shape both sides of the lens to the exact specifications of your eye rotation. This process shapes the vertical component (which affects magnification and distance) into the front of the lens, and the horizontal component (which affects the power changes from side to side) into the back. The two surfaces are then integrated using Balanced View Control, the computer vision evaluation that analyzes and corrects any Skew Deformation, ensuring the clearest vision in all directions. The more you rely on your glasses, the more you’ll appreciate the ID lens.

All other progressive lens designs restrict the vertical and horizontal design components to the back side of the lens only, limiting their ability to create large viewing zones. HOYA is the first to customize the lens on both sides, creating a truly personalized vision correction.

At Optical Matters, our optometrists use the most advanced lens technologies, providing our patients with lens designs and treatments specifically focused for every lifestyle: driving, computer work, fishing, golf, outdoor activities, reading, hobbies and much more.

Our doctors and highly trained opticians will help find your best vision solution.

Enhancing your visual comfort and appearance is always our goal.
